God has put many dreams into our hearts.
It is good to feel excited about our dreams, but we tend to act smarter than The One who created the dreams.
We think, oh if I do this and that then my dreams would be fulfilled. We started to come up with these ideas and we forgot to talk to God first about it.
We tried so hard that we came to a dead end and we started to lose hope.
And it makes us forget that dreams must die.
God is a jealous God. In a godly way (duh).
He wants to be the first in our hearts, and the first in our dreams.
When it says that dreams must die, it means to surrender the dreams to God and believes that He'll make a way. And then we start working the dreams but involved God in every task and ideas.
But it doesn't mean that the dead end disappear. It will always be there.
But don't lose hope.
Every time we started to give up, He could take the dream away and give it to someone else.
There are tons of people full of potential on this planet.
But if God put that dream to you, isn't that mean there's something special?
But the great thing about surrender, we wouldn't feel depressed every time the dead ends shows up.
And when a dream died, it would eventually grow.
Just like an apple tree (or any kind of tree). When you plant the seed, it seems that it will never grow. But if you water it and take care of it diligently, surrender your dreams and let it "die", it will grow!
Don't lose hope. Keep holding the dreams. If God gave it to you, then it is for you. Even though it seems like it's not going anywhere, trust Him, it will go :)
