Seventeen (Part II)

So. After what I did on 20th, I didn't expect much on the next day. I didn't even think of receiving anything from my nor from my friends. Like we planned few days before, we're going a fine family dinner on one of the hotels in Jakarta. I am not much of a ''dress-up girl'' so I was going to wear something a little casual dress for the dinner. But somehow my sister and my mom keep pushing me to wear something REAL formal. I was kinda pissed actually, but I tried to hold it inside so I wouldn't ruin the day.

On our way to the hotel (me, sis and mom. dad and bro is going somewhere), bro text me that he would be late on dinner and somehow my dad ended up going to my uncle's restaurant to meet him. Mom started to (act. she's a great actress) angry. I really really couldn't stand it so I also started to get mad at her. Next thing I knew, we're at the restaurant. And when we arrived at the rooftop, bam, surprise. My church friends, old childhood friends, cousins, family, my dance friends were there. It was an EPIC moment :')
I started to cry (booooo), and we really had a good time. :''D

It is so nice knowing that I am surrounded with great family and friends. I am so blessed. Thank you Lord! Thank you for everyone who made this happened. I really truly love you all :') <3

Seventeen

Last Tuesday I turned 17! (eeep! :D) I've been dreaming of turning 17 ever since I was 5. Since last year I started to plan out my sweet 17 party. It's a garden party, with bunch of flowers, polaroid pictures everywhere, and iced pink lemonade on the corner. Everyone would wear pastel outfits and I would be wearing a floral dress. It was all completed concept. A month ago I started to feel unsure my party idea, so I decided to just have a family dinner on my birthday. I talked to my mom about this and she 'forced' me to do something special, because it's 17th. About a week before my birthday, I was watching this Korean show (yes I liked a few of Korean stuffs :P), and there's this girl she went to charity by donating her blood. There's almost nothing special about giving some of our blood away, but the way she expressed her joy after the charity which inspired me to do one.

So, on August 20th 2012, as the last day on my 16 year, we went to give presents to our brothers and sisters at the HoHi orphanage. It's a small orphanage. There were only 12 smart and funny kids. Not like any other usual routines on the orphanage that involved crying and full pity, I decided to just have lunch and play toys with them. The joy after sharing with them are indescribable. It's more than receiving a million bucks, or even winning a lottery. It's a peaceful and joyful feeling to know that while blessing others, you were also being blessed :)
